Genome ID Forum 2014 – HD SNP Array for Forensic Casework

Overview

Originally presented at the 2014 Genome ID Forum, Dr. Sandra Close presents her latest research, the application of high density SNP array technology applied to forensic casework. Dr. Close presents an overview of the platform, including chemistry, assay and interpretation, and expands the technology to evaluate the capability on typical forensics samples, particularly to mixture interpretation. Detailed validation studies are discussed, followed by data interpretation and mock case examples including mixtures of four individuals. Dr. Close presents the application of this technology to utilize SNPs for the resolution of mixed DNA profiles and presents validated data to support her conclusions.

A certificate of completion is available for all who register and attend this webinar.
