Webinar: u-XRF of glass – Practical Explanation of ASTM E2926 [Archival]

Recent studies have shown that micro-XRF is a very discriminating technique for glass samples. ASTM method E2926-13 (Standard Test Method for Forensic Comparison of Glass Using Micro X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometry) was developed based on this research to assist analysts in acquiring and interpreting XRF data from forensic glass samples. This webinar focused on the practical application of E2926-13 to the forensic analysis of glass, with additional discussion regarding validation of XRF instrumentation for use in forensic casework.

Funding for this Forensic Technology Center of Excellence event has been provided by the National Institute of Justice.

A certificate of completion is available for all who register and attend this webinar.
