Latent Print Technical Leader Working Group

The Latent Print Technical Leader Working Group (LPTL-WG), supported by the National Institute of Justice (NIJ), in partnership with the Forensic Technology Center of Excellence (FTCOE) at RTI International, is an emerging community of latent print technical leaders (and those serving in similar roles) from local, state, federal, tribal, and international agencies. The primary goal of the LPTL-WG is to provide the latent print community with a coordinated means of communication and collaboration on key topics within the discipline, such as operational practices, implementation of emerging technologies, accreditation requirements, and community challenges. The LPTL-WG will maintain communication and develop resources to benefit the latent print community through online discussion boards and quarterly virtual meetings.

If you are a latent print technical leader, or are serving in a similar role, and are interested in joining, please complete the member interest form! Member forms will be reviewed weekly, and you will be notified with instructions on how to access the member page.
